How Much Does A Pool Cage Cost [Ultimate Guide]

Written By Kenneth Wilson  |  3 Comments

If you’re new to Florida and bought a house that doesn’t have a pool cage, or if you have a pool pool cage it’s looking a little rundown, you might be wondering how much a pool cage costs.  Unfortunately there’s no single answer to the question “how much does a pool cage cost”.   It depends on several different factors such as the location of the pool cage, size of the pool cage, wind zone and building department rules, and market conditions. The types of materials also play a big difference too.  Builders grade materials don’t last long and are cheaper.  That said we are currently working on an ultimate guide to how much pool cages cost and will cover things such as signers types of materials in foundation. Until then you can get quotes for how much your pool cage will cost from our contractor network where all of our contractors are pre-vetted, fully licensed and insured and maintain a reputation for quality.

About the Author

I can build it, and I can help you get the patio enclosure you want! I got my start in the Florida patio industry back in the 70s as a young general laborer looking for something to make a few bucks. At the time I never thought it would end up as my career. Over the years I grew beyond the laborer position, becoming a foreman, superintendent, and then into executive management for some of the largest patio contractors, and material vendors. Now into retirement and slightly bored, I offer consulting services to new and existing contractors, and publish this website to help the people who love their patio's and screen enclosures the most - YOU!

  • Hi slightly bored Kenneth! I ‘m starting to look for companies for complete rescreen estimates thru Angies, google, local building dept, referrals, etc anything I can get my hands on as a good source. I am confused as to the way to go with fasterners as opinions seem to differ, high quality 18/8 stainless steel OR these Nylo-Tec/Pro-Tec fasteners? (no zinc no 401 stainless!). It sounds to me as though the polycarbonate heads are coated stronger STEEL than even stainless, will never rust, and superior to all fastener options even 18/8 stainless? Thanks for your opinion as I’m just a wife googling my brains out 😉

  • So 15 months later and you still don’t have this up? You should change the banner form “Coming Soon” to “Coming Before The End of Time….. maybe”

    • This site has $0 commercial value and provides tons of value of hundreds of folks each day. Until then take a hike. Maybe you should quit being a twat and pay me to write it. $1000 and I’ll have it done in 7 days. Until then take a hike.
