Whoa! A Collier County Permit Costs How Much???

This post makes a slight stray from the screen enclosure information I generally post, but I figure ‘what the heck’, most people interested in Screen Enclosures in the Naples area, are also in some way involved with buying, purchasing, renovating or improving, a home in Southwest Florida and likely retiree’s like myself.

I was recently nosing around the Collier County Records whilst doing some research for properties and ran across the ‘fees’ for a new home permit.  It The House With 25k Permit was nothing fancy.  Not a McMansion by anymeans, just a typical 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house in a gated community in Naples Florida, being built by Divosta.  As I said typical, there are hundred other developers in the area building residences like this such as Centex, Lennar, Del Webb, Gl Homes, WCI Communities, and Stock Development just to name a few.  The fee’s for the permit were staggering.  A WHOPPPING total ofr$25,489.58 so far.  More fee’s could be added.

How much is just a screen enclosure permit in Collier County permit?  Well fortunately it is much less.  A typical screen enclosure permit in the area would run about $200-400.
