I’ve seen many small screen enclosures repainted.  20×40’s, an occasional 2 story rectangle, I’ve seen painted and pulled off looking like new.  Its actually getting to be quite common as the repaint, re-screen, and fastener upgrade costs about half the price of replacing, and can be done quickly with no permit needed.
Occasionally though, something comes along and takes the cake, like this screen enclosure in Naples Florida that was repainted by Gulf Coast Aluminum.  Give it a quick glimpse and you will quickly see what I mean.  The top of the enclosure reaches 30 feet into the air and spans over 100′.  On top of it all, the enclosure rests on fine decorative stone columns which require more then average attention to detail.  Getting up 30′ is a challenge in itself, paint up that high is even more challenging as the wind becomes your arch rival.
They invited me out on the last day to take a look, so I jumped at the chance. Â Upon arriving the size was much even larger then I expected — the pictures don’t do it justice. Â The quality was impressive. Â Paint was sprayed evenly and all the screen was tight. Â It was all well done project by my standards and their customer would certainly be happy with it. Â Take a look at the pictures.
We are in the process of redoing are existing screen enclosure. We are interested in a no see um screen that will also stop pine needles from coming through. We are also looking for a partial mural screen that would be approximately 10 ft. X 22 ft.
